Beyond the pens, notebooks, images, illustrations, and keystrokes, the value of the solutions PPI provides is in the magnitude of importance of what we provide to the end user.

 Example 1 – Operator’s Manual

A project may require us to develop an operator’s manual for a piece of manufactured equipment. The deliverable for this project is of course, the completed operator’s manual. Having the on-time and accurate operator’s manual is part of our commitment to any project, but the value can be found elsewhere, too. It is in the document template created by PPI, developed to enable our customer to use it for other types of documentation again and again, helping to bring standardization across the company.

 Example 2 – Web Portal

In this scenario, project may require a large amount of indirect materials data to be managed and tracked. The deliverable for this project is a web portal that allows user groups to log-in and perform various calculations and other tasks related to the data. The value PPI adds is allowing users to customize reports and automatically e-mail them at intervals defined by the users. Rather than having to set-up and manage canned data reports for groups or individuals and constantly update or modify them, PPI builds in the accessibility for users to create their own reports.

 Example 3 – 3D Modeling

The documentation of a complex piece of machinery may require a large number of illustrations to convey technical concepts. Rather than draw each illustration from scratch, PPI utilizes the 3D modeling files that have already been created by the customer’s engineering department to export professional and consistent-quality line art, saving time, cost and resources.

 Example 4 – Translation

Projects requiring language translation can benefit from Translation Memory software employed by PPI. Technical terms and commonly used content are compared with subsequent translations to ensure that only new content is being translated. This can yield significant cost savings over the course of a number of translation projects.
